RUSH is an anthropology group dedicated to fostering research and collaboration on contemporary issues related to health and biomedical healthcare in the U.S.

We provide an open forum for discussion amongst scholars and professionals from around the world who critically investigate and engage with U.S. health policy and practice.

Our interests include, but aren’t limited to: state and local health policy and administration; health and healthcare for underserved populations and veterans; insurance and insurers; health professional education, health workforce issues, and environmental health; health and healthcare disparities along lines of race, class, gender, sexuality, immigration status, and other axes of diversity.
